Homeschool Parent Workshop - Getting Started
Join us if you are new to homeschooling and have questions. You may be wondering:
- What legal requirements does my state have?
- Where can I find curriculum and how do I choose which one is best for my child?
- How will I meet my child's social needs?
- How do I know what my child needs to be learning in each grade?
- How can I balance homeschooling with my job/my home responsibilities/my other children?
We will offer answers to these and many other questions about getting started in homeschooling, including your questions in a Q&A segment of the workshop. This is our opportunity to rethink education. We'll find the liberty to truly seek God's will for our children, and the stewardship we have in raising them.
At this meeting we will also present information about the state of Arkansas' new Education Freedom Accounts, a part of the LEARNS legislation promoted by Governor Sanders Huckabee, that helps families afford the education option that best serves each individual child.
This workshop is made available to the public by the Eclectic Teaching Consortium, the areas longest running Christian hybrid homeschool program.
