Homeschool Parent Workshop - The Early Years
Join us if you are homeschooling a child in the grammar years and would benefit from a guide to an organic, affordable, simple and screen-free education through elementary grades. During this season we have the opportunity to train our child's palate for fine literature, cultivate his or her love of God's creation, think discerningly about everything he or she learns while laying a broad and secure foundation for further education through middle school and high school.
We will share ideas for taking the stress of home educating off of you, the parent, and the pressure off of your child. Watch their love of learning blossom and give them the skills to continue their education all their life. We will open a Q&A segment of the workshop. Come and find some encouragement for the early years of homeschooling.
At this meeting we will also present information about the state of Arkansas' new Education Freedom Accounts, a part of the LEARNS legislation promoted by Governor Sanders Huckabee, that helps families afford the education option that best serves each individual child.
This workshop is made available to the public by the Eclectic Teaching Consortium, the area's longest running Christian hybrid homeschool program.
